Turn on /offは言い方はいろいろあります。
電化製品のほとんどが、～を点(つ)ける/～を切(き)る
携帯電話ですと、携帯電話の電源を切る。/電源を入れる。となります。パソコンも携帯電話と同じです。
電気の明かりは、点けると消すです。
