"tantas cosas"= so many things
Examples in Spanish
I have many things to do = tengo tantas cosas por hacer
I have much to say = tengo tanto que decir
have much/many work to do= tengo mucho/tanto trabajo por hacer
has many friends= tiene tantos amigos.
