"doe-knob"
what does it suppose to mean and how to use it?
so here is a simple but I can`t figure out what it is
we gone find somebody deaf as a "doe-knob"

It's doorknob pronounced with a US southern accent. "Deaf as a doorknob" just means very deaf.
