Elementary school = 「小学」ですか、「初等部」ですか？
Elementary school は 小学ですね？ じゃ、 なんでこの App には 「初等部」が書かれていましたか？ 辞書でさえありません！ 辞書にはさえ載ってありません！ T_T 卑言ですか？

小学校 means an elementary school in general. Some school, especially private ones, consist of an elementary school, junior high, high school, and sometimes even a college. They sometimes name their elementary school 初等部 meaning an elementary department literally.

Elementary school is 小学校 generically. In the case of private schools with unified school programs, elementary school is called 初等部.
