What does ''khaki'' mean?
Hi I was reading and I found this word and I don't know what it means... :)
'She was dressed in jeans, a blue denim shirt, and a khaki fishing vest, and she was checking out her tackle box.'

Khaki is a color. It is a light tan. It is used heavily for clothes used for outdoor activities.
It is such a popular color for pants, that it can be used to mean the pants themselves. For example:
A- "What are you wearing to the picnic?"
B- "I'm going to wear a t-shirt and some khakis."
