Can someone tell me what is the meaning of 바라만. and when do I use 의 after a verb or noun.

바라만 보다 means just looking at someone.
It includes a very passive attitude of a man even though he wants to say something to the girl he likes.

의 is a possessive marker so it is used rarely after a verb and in more cases after a noun.
ex. My friend's sister= 제 친구의 여동생
