How do I use more than one verb in a Japanes sentance? I understand the basics of Japanese sentence structure but I have not been able to figure out how to make compound sentences and compound verbs. For instance, how would I say something like "Let him know"? I know each of those words individually but I do not know how to put them into a sentence. Furthermore, something like "I woke up this morning, made coffee and left for work." again I know all of those words, but do not know how to put them together. I do not want to know the translation, I want to know how I make compound sentences and verbs.

To make a sequence of actions just conjugate all the verbs except for the last one to their "て form", the tense of all the verbs is determined b y the last one. 例文:歩いて店に着いて食品を買って家に帰った。

The precise answer may need to be used up a whole session. There are some formats to be put the verbs into but you may need to learn some verb forms before you learn the structures. https://www.coscom.co.jp/japaneseverb/japaneseverb01-jpr.html Like you wrote Let him know: allow him to know = shiraseru we do not say "shiraseru koto wo yurusu." the same as you do not say usually in English. There are also some variations to say it in the same meaning. e.g. shirase mashou, shirase yohu. As for the next sentence, I see this will be a sequence of time or action. I'll say, 私(わたし)は朝(あさ)起(お)きて、コーヒー(こーひー)を入(い)れ(or つくり)、仕事(しごと)に出(で)た。 or 私は朝起きて、コーヒーを入れてそれから 仕事に 行(い)き ました。(also 出た、or 行った is correct) Notice that we do not say, "shigoto no tame ni saru." in a natural way in this occasion; neither "asa okita, ko-hi-wo tsukutta, sorekara sigotoni deta." We understand these but sounds very awkward. Here are more examples which you may be interested in. http://www.japaneseprofessor.com/lessons/beginning/conjunctions-and-compound-sentences/ Hope it helps a bit. Wish somebody answer about it more.
