Kindly help me understand the sentence "The units are scheduled for delivery before Sunday" OR "The units have been scheduled for delivery before Sunday" which sentence is correct when writing an email.

They are both correct and describe the same thing. However "has been scheduled" describes more the action that took place to schedule the meeting.

Both are correct. I think you need to study the difference between present simple and present perfect. Use present perfect (have been) if you are presenting this information as news.
