I want to confirm a sentence. Did you know today is teacher's day. Did you know about it. Recently after wishing teachers day i asked to teacher this question..so, was it any mistake in it and can we use this sentence my confusion is we are using 'DID' and i m talking about present..Is she know about this day before i wished her..

Yes, the way you worded the question is the correct form. The trick here is that you are asking her whether she knew about an event prior before you told her about it. Therefore, you telling her about it is the present, and anything before that is the past. That means you aren't actually talking about the present, but the past!
