Going grocery shopping would be referred to as 시장 보러가다 or, shortened, 장보다/장을 보다. You can't really refer to general shopping this way though, only for markets/supermarkets/grocery markets. If you wanna say, for example, shopping at the mall, you can say 물건 사러 가다 or even 쇼핑하다.
