直接音译过来，推特，不用解释这两个字的意思，毕竟是音译，要解释也要从英文来解释。

中文是音译过来的“推特” tui te。 这类外来词一般会音译，要么简单的直译！For example, facebook is 脸(face)书(book). Or 脸谱。Apple, we say 苹果！ Microsoft, we say 微(micro)软(soft).

Yes wesley, I use wechat, but I cannot use Sina Weibo because last time I check, Sina Weibo is in 汉字, it has no english version.

You are right. Twitter(推特, tuī tè) & Facebook are blocked in mainland. We have Sina Weibo & wechat.
