"be" would conjugate to "is", but the word order would be "Why is Subject Adj" so for example "Why is Tom sad?"

Tom has broken up with his girlfriend. That's why Tom is sad. ("Why+S+be+adj"). Both examples by Certainly and me are correct, but do you see the difference between them? :)
