How can I name that ?
Hello.
I would like to know how I can name a certain category of weapons.
For example, there is firearms and explosive weapons.
But how can I name the category of weapons which include for example a baseball bat, a knife, a hammer, a hatchet etc...
You know, all these objects that can be used as weapons.
In french for example it's "Arme blanche".

We call that a 'cold weapon', or else use the direct translation 'white weapon'.

We call most of those blunt weapons, with the exception of knives. I think knives may have their own category.
