I would imagine that multilingualism would affect the vocabulary of a national language through borrowed words and code-switching. It might also affect word order in the national language.

It is originally an idiom from a song "Don't worry, be happy. Its meaning is to not allow problems to interfere with your life and smile through all of your problems. It is a kind of feel good philosophy. As for multilingualism, I have no idea.
