what does it mean "worship like dog" ?!!
While I was scanning the chart of the top songs I listened to the songe called "Take me to chruch-Hozier" . I don't understand what this line from the lyrics mean : " I will worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies"
What does he want to say by saying worship like dog ?! !!

Not a good example, but a dog is very loyal to its master. A blind devotion to it owner so the expression worship like a dog. To have total devotion to his owner.
