Swept is the past tense of "to sweep" (to clean the floor with a broom), but in this sentence: "I hope I don't get swept off my feet", the writer/speaker is using "swept" in the subjunctive. "To sweep someone off their feet" means make someone like you in a very romantic way. For example: We went on a date and he swept me off my feet!
