I grew up listening to this song with my mom.... but (of course) I didn't understand English back then.
And today, I was looking for songs to the kids at school more specifically "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" then I found this song by accident that it's been so many years that I haven't listened to it. Therefore ...I been listening to the melody my whole life and I thought it was a romantic song... But Now I am lost....
Is this song about.... childhood.... family Or whatever.... I can't title the song.... maybe one of you can clarify this question to me.

Well I think it's an analogy.  She is talking about a romance that seemed perfect.  She knows that changes happen and that things always come to an end.  She thinks love will come again and uses the analogy of a children's song that even after the rain (trouble, sadness) the spider will go back up the water spout (love will come again).  Maybe...
