Personal 'a'...Are these sentences both correct?
Su madre siempre ve las noticias.
A nuestro padre le encanta leer el periódico.
Why does the first example use the personal a, but not the second?

"Su madre" is the subject in the first sentence.
"Leer el periódico" is the subject of the second sentence. "A nuestro padre" is the indirect object and the indirect object always use "a" before.
