You can say "I was worried" as "걱정했었어 or 걱정했잖아" to a friend in Korean. I was worried you wouldn’t come. 난 네가 오지 않을까 봐 걱정했었어. I was really worried about you how about now? 정말 많이 걱정했잖아, 지금은 어때?
