Is using the word 'of' necessary here? Hello citizens of italki. Could you tell whether I need to use 'OF' in this sentences or not, and what does it imply? 1) She is looking out OF the window. 2) She is looking out the winfow. 3) I poked my head out the school door. 4) I poked my head out OF the school door. thanks a lot.

It's best to use the OF version although you will hear people not using it!
