In Coldplay song "fix you" they say "I will try to fix you" and I read in a lyrics translate site, that can be translated like "I will try to comfort you" I just want know if this is correct

It's a pretty good translation of the metaphor, which is trying to fix something that is broken. Throughout the song, the singer explains that the person he is singing about is stressed, upset, and almost empty. In this way, the person is "broken." After he explains this, he says "I will try to fix you," and this makes "fixing the thing that is broken" a metaphor for comforting someone in pain.
