What 'sport' or 'sports' do you like? What 'sport' or 'sports' do you like? And when we ask about color, which one do we say, what 'color' or 'colors' do you like? Thank you!

What sport do you like? Which sports do you like? What sports do you like? What movie did you watch? Which movie did you watch? What color do you like? Which colors do you like? What is your favorite color? Which are your favorite colors? To be grammatically correct you can use either. But "which" sounds a bit more formal and is used when more options are given (or if there are more options available, e.g. "color" vs "colors".). I like using "which" as in Dutch we use a separate word for this as well, which WOULD be a grammatical error, in Dutch.

Both 'What sport do you like?' and 'What sports do you like?' are grammatically correct, but the first assumes that the person only likes one type of sport. If you are asking a general question about people's interests and hobbies, it would be normal to say 'What sports do you like?, as most people like several sports. It's the same with colours. It's very unlikely that a person would like only one colour and dislike all other colours. So, if you are asking in general about someone's likes and preferences, you wouldn't say 'What colour do you like?' The only natural situation in which you'd say this is if you want the person to choose one out of several options. For example, if you want to paint your bedroom walls and you can't decide on the colour, you might show your friend several paint samples, and say 'What colour do you like?', meaning 'What colour do you like best?'

You can use both sport or sports. It doesn't matter. Some people do more than one sport and it will be clarified in the conversation that follows and vice versa.

我们问的应该是“你喜欢哪一种运动”,而不是哪一些运动吧。

I think we usually say "What sport do you like ?" and "What color do you like?"
