Is this correct, 'When is the Christmas Day'?
Do I need to omit 'the' before the Christmas Day? Similarly, can I say 'When is the Children's Day'?
Thank you!

Nouns name people, places, and things.
Every noun can further be classified as common or proper.
A proper noun has two distinctive features:
1) it will name a specific [usually a one-of-a-kind] item, and
2) it will begin with a capital letter no matter where it occurs in a sentence.
Here is a list of proper nouns (names of people/things) categories:
Holidays............................................... Christmas / NewYears
Geographical areas................................ New York / Canada
People and pets.................................... Richard / Xi Jinping / Hello Kitty / (the name of your pet)
Books, Newspapers, Magazines............ The New York Times / The Beijing Review / italki
Companies and organizations................ Google / Lenovo
Religious terms.................................... God / Christian / Allah / Islam
Places, buildings.................................. The Great Wall of China / The Empire State Building
Titles................................................... President / Queen / General Secretary
Languages........................................... English / Chinese
Brand names....................................... Coke / Nike (Nai Ke)
Possessive Proper Nouns..................... NewYear's Day / China's holidays / John's house
Proper nouns usually (but not always) don’t have determiners/articles.
- When is Christmas Day?
- When is Children's Day?
- Where is Canada?
- Who is Barack Obama?
- What is Google?
- How can I learn English?
- Who is Queen Elizabeth?
- Do you like Coke?
- I celebrate New Year's Day once a year.
- Where is The Great Wall of China?
- Have you visited The Empire State Building?

You should omit 'the' in both questions.

Usually people just say "When is Christmas?", but you can take out 'the' on both questions
