How do you think about winter in your country?
In Vietnam, winter often from Oct to Jan of next year. It is too cold especially in early morning and midnight. Its temperature is much lower in day.
In winter, I like wearing thick jacket like a lovely bear. I can feel warm hug from my darling and heat from burning pieces of wood. I will have holidays far from my house with my friends such as going a picnic in Sapa to see snow and climbing the mountain. You know? It is great to lie inside warm blanket and take messages to everyone or read book.
I also love eating ice cream in winter and feel sweetness and coldness from.
And you? How do you feel about winter? Please share your opinion to everyone here.. :)I am English learner, so I like sharing experiences and my feeling in life with everyone to study English together and understand more our country.
Maybe my writing is not good or even my grammar is incorrect and exactly.But I think I will be improved if I try to learn it everyday. :)

Originally, Im from Dallas, Texas which it isn't as cold where I live now in Canada. In Canada, I find the cold is a good time to spend with family. My sister and I would watch Anime and read. I like to have a warm blanket and drink tea or Hot Chocolate. I live on the Prairies, so sometime the power goes out with high winds and we revert to using a wood stove.

I live in the Northeastern United States, and winter is coming. The climate is not too different from yours. It usually gets down well below 0°C for many weeks in winter, and there is almost always snow, in varying amounts.

I like having changes in climate and in day length, and I like living in a place with changing seasons. On the whole I don't like winter--I worry about whether the furnace will work, I don't like driving on icy roads, I don't like the nuisance of having to shovel the steps and use the snowblower to clear the driveway.

I don't ski. Where I live, many people do like to ski and love winter for that reason.

And yes, it's nice to snuggle under a blanket with someone.

This is my favorite thing I have read today - "like a lovely bear."
Normally we do not use a simile with what I would call unconnected adjectives.  That is, the bear being "lovely" does not really connect with "wearing a thick jacket".  However, it sounds poetic and is not really incorrect, since you are the one wearing the jacket.  It is similar to saying "I am lovely, and I'm wearing a thick jacket like a bear."
