check on it , check it out Hi. Is there any difference between "check on it" and "check it out" ? If so, could you give me an example of it ? Thanks.

The uses are a little different. 1. There's a pizza in the oven. Check on it. So check on it is used with things you already know. Tommy hasn't come home yet. Check on him. or 2. I heard a noise downstairs. Check it out. This is used with things that are not certain. I have a rash on my hand. Check it out.
