Are these translations correct?
A friend of mine is studying Mandarin and she is wondering if these translations are correct. If they are not even close could anyone please provide other options that are close to the same meanings as these provided.

1. A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections.

宁做有瑕玉，不做无暇石。

2. A gem will be polished without carving and polishing, nor a man perfected without trials.

玉不琢、不成器。

3. Deep doubts, deep wisdom;

small doubts, little wisdom.

疑惑深，智慧深；疑惑浅，智慧浅。

yes, all three are correct.
as for 2, I think the "polished" and "polishing" sound a little bit  repeated, maybe you will want to change one of them.
