attractive definition - 'pleasing or appealing to the senses' (normally sight), appealing is 'attractive or interesting'. Depends on the context. Generally they are interchangeable, or at least very similar. Food that has too much salt is salty.

1. Attractive describes the appearance of something or someone. Appealing can be in regard to an idea or thought. At least that is how I use them. Most of the time they are intercheangeable.But I'd still say "I find you very attractive", whereas "you are very appealing to me" sounds a little objectifying to me. You'd find appealing regarding more abstract or general contexts like: "that idea sounds appealing to me" = "it suits me a lot/ I like it a lot". 2. salty hope I could be of help (:
