There's a lot of people or There are a lot of people?
Or they are both correct.And any difference?
I seem to have heard "There is a lot of people nore"sorry it's "more"

The grammatically correct phrase is "there are a lot of people", although you may hear the second variant. "A lot of people" is plural. For example, you wouldn't say "a lot of people is in the room", instead you would say "a lot of people are in the room".
