What does "klaar" mean? How would you say in Dutch "I am not ready for this situation"? I understand klaar as "finished" with something but I am not sure if you can also use it as "ready" for a situation.

Yes, you can use it in this way, e.g.: Ik ben er klaar voor. = I'm ready. Ik ben niet klaar voor deze situatie.
