Please let me understand this sentence meaning " I just need to be done with it."

to be done with something = to be finished with something that you don't want to be doing or to be rid of something that you don't want to be involved with.
1. I can't wait to be done with peeling all these onions.
2. She can't wait to be done with him.  I wish he'd get the message and just stay away from her.

It means something like "I need to finish it."
