When we ask someone to do something for us, we use ~てもらえますか/~てもらえませんか.
もらえませんか is more polite than もらえますか.
(e.g.) ちょっと教えてもらえますか。/ちょっと教えてもらえませんか。
If you ask higher ranking people such as your boss, or people who you don't know, it is better to use ~ていただけますか/~ていただけませんか.
(e.g.) ちょっと待っていただけますか。/ちょっと待っていただけませんか。
