Yes! That is, the north German way of pronouncing R is. Southerners, however, roll their Rs.

^ some speakers roll it, some don't.
But there's also vocalised Rs (when they follow after a vowel, R becomes something close to a). Berg is pronounced rather like "Beag", at least in the normal flow of language.
