what does "e-r líða ekkert"mean?
Halló allir!!
If I'm not all too confused enough, ekkert could be either the in nominative or accusative case, and líða can take dative, accusative and genitive. However, I've noticed that some examples I saw use dative for thise verb:
Tíminn líður
hvernig líður verkinu?
mér líður vel
So, according to these case changes, the meaning changes as well. The question is what does líða mean in that case (followed by ekkert). According to google translator, it could mean both to feel nothing or to matter nothing.

tíminn "líður" is time passes but if people say mér " líður" vel then it means they feel good. hahaha this is a bit hard to explain but Icelandic can be this confusing sometimes
