Nastya
Could you please tell me what is my name in Chinese? The full form of my given name is Anastasiya 阿娜斯塔西娅 but it's too long. What about Nastya?

You can choose a Chinese name! Having a proper Chinese name is nice! I recommend you choose a surname based on your actual surname, and then ask a Chinese friend to help you choose another one or two characters. You can choose them on sound, how they look, or even meaning! Laurence

It is a bit of challenge for some Chinese to pronounce. People normally do not remember those name which they have difficulty to remember. Name in China normally comes in 2 parts. The family name comes first, then followed by your name with one or two words. In my opinion, "阿娅" or “娜娅” will be a nice choice. They both sound exotic in Chinese. For “娜娅”, some of us do give a similar name to a new born female member. "阿娅" will be a name informal. We often call a friend like “阿……”. It is a name people remember. The family name in China normally only have a word, there are exceptions, you can extract a word from your family name. Of course, the method Laurence also proposed a good approach. In this case, you need search for a common Chinese family name, and a couple of meaningful words for your first name. Good luck. - Yi

Nastya in Chinese could be 纳斯塔雅。But it's not that easy to pronounce. Maybe you could choose a one-word surname and a two-word first name. That would be the most common pattern of a Chinese name.

The pronunciation of Настя is 茄茶 to the Japanese Chinese(kanji) . The meaning is eggplant tea. The Japanese notation of Nastya is ナスティア. For your reference.
