'cuidar de' and 'cuidar a'
What's the difference between 'cuidar de' and 'cuidar a' ? Thank you!
For example:
1 Estos días estamos muy ocupados en cuidar de él.
2 Estamos muy ocupados para cuidar a ella estas días.

Hi Koori!! dificult question! I agree with Sebastian, there is a very sight diferent.
From my point of view the translation could be:
cuidar de: look after (not only for people but also for plants, animals, things)
Could you take care of my plants on holidays?
cuidar a: care for (only for people)
Could you take care of my son this weekend

Hi, Koori. I am from Chile and I would say there is not much difference. I think it depends on the country, I would say the first sentence but maybe someone from another country would say another... both mean 'take care of'
