the meanning of "hightlight reel"
I saw the word in a interview, in which interviewee said the music movie is like a highlight reel of a person. I cannot find the exact meaning on net. Does "highlight reel" mean highlight recap? Thanks a lot.

A highlight reel of a person could be a recap of the most important events in that person's life (or a specific period of their life, if stated)
"Hey, did you see the Senna movie?"
-Yeah! It's great. It's basically a highlight reel of Ayrton Senna's life.
