There's more of a demand for/ more demand for? Hi guys, I'd like to know how these are different, how I can use them properly. - There's more of a demand/ There's more demand for certain products that people didn't know about so much before. Thank you in advance.

Both are OK and mean the same thing. But I thing “more demand” is better because it more clearly expresses the idea of economic demand (as opposed to, for example, a demand that a boss might make of a worker) and it is the more usual say to express that idea. “A demand” can be used to express the idea of economic demand, but is less common and sounds more casual.
