Could you translate this part of an interview to spanish?( or explain it in english) "I got a guy his C-suite job,” she recalled. “I’m sitting there at the C-suite table and he takes a massive swipe at me on my business: ‘She’s not doing this right.’ I go down the hall, and I go to my friend and say, ‘What the hell just happened?’ And she said, ‘Did you forget the boys play a 24/7 game of dodge ball? You just walked into the gym. You whip the ball, and if it happens to knock somebody on the head, so what?’ And my husband said, ‘Why the hell did you help him get his job two years ago?’

This is a part of an interview and I didn't get her friend's explaination of the situation. Maybe it's because I don't know what dodge ball is?

I would appreciate if someone could translate this to spanish or explain it to me in English . thanks!!

so I'm really confused as to where this interview comes from kind of need more context but il try to help dodge ball is a common game we play in gyms basically the goal is to throw rubber balls at people on the opposite side and if you get hit you are out of the game. it has a somewhat violent reputation and though it is still played, much softer balls are commonly used. So she is making a metaphor comparing the situation where he insulted her buisness to a game of dodgeball and by saying it is a 24/7 game she is making the point that they are always attacking each other in the C suite job environment much like a game of dodgeball that lasted all day where hard balls would constantly be being thrown at you
