The basic adjective is "antico", and "antico" is masculine singular. Adjectives ending in -co form the feminine and the plural (masculine and feminine) as follows:
- ca (feminine)
- chi (plural masculine)
- che (plural feminine).
Some examples:
un monumento antico, una città antica, molti monumenti antichi, molte città antiche;
un vestito bianco, una giacca bianca, molti vestiti bianchi, molte giacche bianche;
un uomo stanco, una donna stanca, molti uomini stanchi, molte donne stanche.
There are a few exceptions, but this is the general rule.
In your sentence the correct form is "molti edifici antichi".

Edificio = masculine. So, plural is antichi. Molti edifici antichi = masculine plural
If it were chiese (=churches) : molte chiese antiche = feminine plural

"antichi" is the correct word because "edifici" is masculine and plural. Generally a plural and masculine word ends with vowel "i", while a plural and feminine word ends with vowel "e".
i --> male
e --> famale

hola, hay generalmente concordancia entre las ultimas letras de las palabras (o-o i-i / a-a e-e)
