Hi
'In terms of' means 'in relation to something'.
E.g.: We try to do our best for all of our customers in terms of the quality of our products.
I hope this short answer helps you!
Kind regards

I use this sentence a lot in physics when I want to express a physical quantity in terms of others, for example in the following relationship W=m.g, the amount W is expeessed in terms of m and g.
