Do you normally say "polarising sunglasses" instead of "polarised sunglasses"?

Polarised:
Polarising = something that becomes two or opposite, and it would be different for different contexts. war, physics, politics, etc
polarising = to make two things become polar.
Although mostly used with directing light to one point (typical used for sunglasses) it also has other meanings.
In the UK we usually say "I am wearing polaroids" or"polaroid (sun) glasses)" sun is optional.
