What means "just" and when do I use it?

Kind also has several meanings:
Kind means 'type of'. A Chihuahua is a kind of dog.
Or kind can mean 'merciful, compassionate, generous-hearted'.

'Just' - it really depends on the context. From the dictionary, we get the following:
adjective

"a just and democratic society"
(of treatment) deserved or appropriate in the circumstances.
"we all get our just deserts"
"just criticism"
antonyms: unfair, wrongful
adverb
adverb: just
1.
exactly.
"that's just what I need"
exactly or almost exactly at this or that moment.
"she's just coming"
2.
very recently; in the immediate past.
"I've just seen the local paper"
3.
barely; by a little.
"inflation fell to just over 4 per cent"
4.
simply; only; no more than.
"just a bad day in the office"
5.
expressing agreement.
"‘Simon really messed things up.’ ‘Didn't he just?’"

Just is most often used to express that something has recently happened. Use just with the present perfect tense to indicate that an action has recently occurred and influences the present moment of speaking.
For example : I've just been to the office .
My dad's just arrived.
