Don't everybody thank me at once. Hello. Han Solo (a pilot) in Star Wars 4 said: I told you I'd outrun them. Don't everybody thank me at once. (No one thanks him.) Could you explain "Don't everybody thank me at once." to me, please? Does it have the same meaning as "WHY don't everybody thank me at once?". Thank you!

Yeah, he's being sarcastic. He's actually expecting everyone to be impressed by his ability to outrun the Empire but no one says anything so he's disappointed that no one is recognizing his achievement. I think if he said "Why doesn't anybody thank me?" would sound more whiney and demanding while the sarcastic comment of pretending that everyone is thanking him at the same time while no one is thanking him at all shows more annoyance. I hope this helps!

It means he is upset that no one is thanking him. It is a sarcastic phrase meaning "I deserve thanks, but no one is giving it to me."
