admitting?
When we use a phrase like "it serves him right." we are, in part ,admitting that a certain set of circumstances has enabled justice to act of its own accord.
Why could the word "admit" adopt such tense ?(present continuous)
To me , "I am knowing..."is wrong. So, what's the matter here ?Are there anyone who could help me understand this?

Hi Blair
To me, 'admit' would be classed as a reporting verb similar to 'discuss', 'deny', 'state' etc - all of these verbs are action verbs and can be used in a continuous tense. Hope this helps:-)
