I just read the sentence.
Everyone has a right to decide for themselves. Is it correct to use " themselves"?

Yes it is correct; it means the group of people or things previously mentioned.
this definition is consistent in all dictionaries.
I know it sounds strange but it is correct.
"theirselves" is considered veryold English and no longer used but you will sometimes hear it, by some speakers.
