The default reply to “Thank you” is “You’re welcome” (Not “You are welcome”) Depending on your tone, facial expression, body language etc, it can mean anything from “I hate you” to “I love you”. It’s not about the words.

No problem (if you simply helped them kindly) You're welcome (this is for the rare occasions when you want to claim credit for helping someone! Use with caution, if you care at all about being humble) Thank you (redirecting the thanks back at them - this works if they did something to help you also, for example in a mutually beneficial deal, or if you believe they did something good for you and you did nothing comparable for them, or if you simply want to focus on what they did for you) Cheers (a more subtle version of replying with "thank you", to imply mutual benefit - this one also serves as a hint of "goodbye") Take care (for a stronger hint of "goodbye" but still in a caring, friendly manner - because usually when someone says "thank you" to me, I will depart so as to not linger in the praise) Let me know if you need anything else (this is for when you really want to look after them in an on-going manner, and want them to know you didn't just help them as a "one off") My pleasure (i would only use this when flirting, to imply it is my pleasure to interact with her in any way whatsoever) Always a pleasure (same as "my pleasure" but for when you're making a regular occurrence of the situation and want to make a point of the fact that your kind behaviour is consistent and you are still enjoying it) ^ These are all phrases I would use. But here's one I would not use: "Don't mention it" -- I would never say this because it's always good that someone is grateful, and this is actually a bit rude, it's a bit like a friendly way of saying "shut up!"

"No worries" is a good reply if that person who thanked you really wants to repay you but you don't want to because ur such a good person.

my favorite - I appreciate it. Also, I prefer to give a specific compliment before saying thank you. For example - It was delicious! , Looks great! , It`s very useful! and then you just add a thank you. It is very useful and important(at least for me) to let them know what you think.
