Words beginning with a- mean "not have". Amoral means someone/something does not have morals. A dog is amoral, what it does is neither good nor bad.
Words beginning with im- mean "opposite". Immoral means someone/something is the "opposite" of moral = has bad morals, does bad things. Hurting someone is immoral.
I hope that helps! :)
