What's the function of infinitive in this sentence?
"He put a cup of coffee into the microwave to heat it up."
As we know infinitive could act as subject, object, subject/adjective complement.
I know here "to heat up" is infinitive of purpose.

He - subject
put - verb
a cup of coffee - direct object
into the microwave - adverbial phrase of location
to heat it up - adverbial phrase of purpose
