whip something up/wheelhouse Hello, I just stumbled on the expression below. Can anyone elaborate on it if possible? It seems the expression is regarding hosting a party and the prep for it. "Let me. I can whip something up. It is totally in my wheelhouse." Thank you!

"to whip up something" means to prepare something quickly, usually food. For something to be "in somebody's wheelhouse" means that they are capable or qualified to do that something. In this case, the speaker is saying that they can prepare something for the party in a hurry and assuring the listener that they are capable of doing that.
