harbored = to keep it secret for a long time never to reveal to anyone.
crippling = it is causing you problems emotionally by harboring it inside yourself.
a harbour = a safe place at sea to anchor a ship in a sheltered bay or inlet.

Hi, "harbored" in phrase it means "keep a secret"
keep (a thought or feeling, typically a negative one) in one's mind, especially secretly.

It kinda means “hiding” “keeping”. “Have you ever kept a secret?”
